HERBIG IDEA is a creative studio comprised of WHITNEY LYLE and SAM HERBIG. Whitney is a designer who loves to create books, packaging, and do crafty projects in her spare time. Sam, once a film electrician, currently doing technical planning at a media firm, loves to take photos tirelessly while finding time on the side to create maps in various mediums (a long-standing hobby, starting with his 3-d topographical map of his hometown, Tübingen in middle school).

Together, with Whitney's big picture ideas and Sam's impeccable attention to detail, they come up with new projects and find ways to execute them. From pulling prints in a printshop to going on photo or painting adventures, we look forward to injecting our creative energy into every aspect of life! We've written about a road trip we took during the Spring of 2014 and you can read about those adventures on our blog. We currently live and work in the Stuttgart area, enjoying some of the best bread on earth and exploring what life has to offer in the Ländle.
