3D Relief Map (Tübingen)
I created this map, or perhaps better, this model as my 8th grade class project. Even now, as I look at the model so many years on, I still love how it reflects the way I know the terrain where I grew up: the hills and the valleys — some steeper and some more gradual.
The support structure for the model was built together with my grandfather who invested a lot of love and care and patience. It's still the highest quality aspect of the whole model.
It was very, very labor intensive and I cannot overstate how many blisters I got from cutting through that thick cardboard.
