Neighborhood Map (Ditmas Park)
The first of my two neighborhood maps, this one was pretty labor intensive, looking back. On the one hand, I wanted to stick to a "true" map format, on the other hand I didn't want it to look like one on first glance. That's how I came up with the magazine page look.
I also wanted to include a certain interactive element, the qr codes. At that time, we would get lots of visitors, and the justification for including this part and trying it out was to give our guest a way to orient themselves in the neighborhood without needing either of us there.
It was fun to make, but soooo much glue!
